Fall Color is Still Happening

If you're looking for fall color, we've still got it at the First Peak of the Blue Ridge. It's the third week of November, and while many of our leaves are on the ground, it's still beautiful here. Now's the perfect time for a visit! Stay in one of our inviting inns or cozy cabins, enjoy a stroll through our small towns with the leaves crunching underfoot or take a beautiful hike or drive through the countryside.

As of November 18, we're seeing rich, warm shades of autumn gracing our mountains and rolling hills. You’ll see the late fall colors - deep reds, burgundys, coppers, rusts, golds and some oranges. Many of the trees that yield the brightest colors have lost their leaves. The photos on this page are current - they were taken on November 18.

We expect some color to hang on through Thanksgiving - maybe a bit longer. So snuggle up in one of our cozy cabins and celebrate your blessings with us during the long Thanksgiving weekend. Stay tuned to see what unfolds - or give us a call at 800-440-7848 for an update and help with planning your visit.

We'll see you soon!
