Pearson's Falls

Beautiful Pearson's Falls is located in the foothills of Western North Carolina and is comprised of 268 acres of virgin forest, spring-fed streams and a 90 ft. waterfall.

Walk along the glen trail and feel the cool, playful mist from the waterfall that often is in the air. On the way up to the falls, be sure to stop and observe over 200 species of fern, flowering plants, algae and mosses in the wildflower preserve. Or you could sit on one of the benches and feel the peacefulness of this natural sanctuary as you listen to the water and the birds.

Spring & Summer Hours

March 1 through October 31

Open Monday through Saturday 10 am to 6 pm (gates close at 5:00 pm)

Sunday noon to 6 pm (gates close at 5:00 pm)

Winter Hours

November 1 through February 28

Open Monday through Saturday 10:00am to 5:00 pm (gates close at 4:00 pm)

Sunday Noon to 5:00 pm (gates close at 4:00 pm)

Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day and all of January
