A private cottage nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Large windows face a private yard with lots of natural light. Unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Only a short walk to downtown Tryon where you can enjoy shopping, dining, movies and outdoor music. Located 13 mi from the Tryon International Equestrian Center, and 9 mi from Saluda which offers kayaking, zip-lining, fly fishing, and tubing down the Green River. Great place to find hiking trails & waterfalls.
Enjoy a relaxing stay in our newly remodeled in-town cottage. Comfortable queen sized beds plus a trundle. Two full baths, shower upstairs and a clawfoot tub with shower downstairs. Downstairs den has a trundle that has two single beds it is adjacent to the second bedroom, separated by curtains not a door. Roku Tv’s upstairs and downstairs and high speed wifi throughout. Kitchen has all new appliances and granite countertops. Relax on one of our three porches and enjoy the outdoors.
You will have the whole cottage to yourself and a grassy yard to wander, overlooking our sheep pasture!
Enough parking for at least three cars, or two and a horse trailer.
We live right up the street and are happy to help in any way we can. We have lived in the area for 34 years so we can help you navigate all of the back roads and nearby hikes.

Downtown Tryon is just a walk away. It is a large arts community and there are several galleries to enjoy. There are antiques, shops, and restaurants. Side street pizza is right down the street, family owned pizza and pasta. Lavender Bistro, Huckleberries offers great dinner. McGourties is a local favorite. A community coffee shop, Tryon Coffee House, is right down the street and is a great place to meet locals! Tryon also has its own movie theater (One of the oldest theaters in NC)! We also have a wonderful Fine Arts Center.
The foothills are known for their many wineries and breweries like Overmountain Winery, Parker-Binns, and Winding Creek Brewery. The Sierra Nevada Brewery in Hendersonville offers great food and drinks, and the Sanctuary Brewery (pet friendly) in Hendersonville is a great hang out spot.
Many dog friendly restaurants in Saluda, NC including Green River BBQ, Green River Brew Dept., and the Purple Onion.
Asheville breweries and the Blue Ridge Parkway is only about 45 minutes away, and is great for an additional day trip! Greenville SC is equal distance away, and offers an incredible downtown experience.
