The Green River Gorge House has a living area with vaulted ceilings, a gas fireplace and a large flat screen TV. It also has a fully stocked kitchen for all of your cooking needs. The living area is on the 2nd floor, where you can easily see and hear the river flowing past the house. From there, step out onto the large and inviting screened-in front porch for a better listen and view. The porch has plenty of room for everyone to enjoy on 6 rockers, a double swing and a swinging bed.
The house offers a master bedroom with a king size bed, flat screen TV and a private full bath. A second bedroom provides a queen bed adjacent to a 3/4 bath. The third and fourth bedrooms are on the ground level, have queen beds, and share a ¾ bath. Also, on the lower level, we have a large living area with a pool table/ ping pong table, as well as games for entertainment. There is also an area with comfortable seating with another satellite TV. If you have a full house, there is an ample loft above the kitchen that provides another queen bed as well as 2 twin beds.
The property borders Fishtop River Access of the Green River, which is the public take-out of the infamous whitewater “narrows” section of the Green River and the put-in of the ever popular class II “Lower Green”. These sections of river are home to rainbow, brook and brown trout and very popular among anglers.
If you are looking for more adventure, this house is also across the street from the bottom of The Gorge Zip-line, America’s steepest, fastest zip line canopy tour.
The property is also adjacent to the Green River Game Lands, over 10,000 acres of public lands with 16 miles of maintained trails for hiking or mountain biking.
For those who want to just enjoy being on the river, we also have tons of yard games, including bocce ball and horseshoes, a basketball hoop, and a kids playground with a slide and swing. There’s a guitar and yoga mats in the living room for guests, as well as a pool table and ping pong table. Tons of things to do at this cabin!
