We handcraft a variety of cheese from fresh to aged. Our Fromage Blanc is a bright, whole milk cow cheese similar to cream cheese. A long time favorite is our Chocolate Lab, a washed rind with a little bit of funkiness to it. We make a cambozola style Blue called Green River Blue, Cheddar (and fresh Cheddar Curds!), a raw-milk Alpine style called Bear Wallow, and our washed curd Ridgeline. We also make Carmoolita, a rich dulce-de-leche style caramel sauce.In addition to our housemade cheese, caramel sauce, and fruit pastes we also carry the best handmade food products being made in WNC. Fresh baguettes from West End Bakery, stone ground mustard from Lusty Monk, amazing preserves and pickles from Copper Pot Wooden Spoon, crackers and flat breads from Roots & Branches alongside a rotating selection of wines (red, white, and bubbly) and local beer. We encourage customers to shop the best of local food, sample everything and stay a while.
Visit us every Friday and Saturday to sample and enjoy our great selection of cheeses. The farm is located in the Green Creek area of Columbus, NC (near Tryon and Landrum). In addition to our regular lineup and cheese boards, we also offer an array of amazing local foods, Ice Cream and other farm products like grass fed, farm raised beef. While you are here bring your walking shoes and feel free to wander the dirt roads on the farm, enjoy the views and walk to the dairy. You can also peek through windows into the production room where we make cheese and into one of our underground cellars where wheels of cheese are aging away.
