In the beautiful Lake Adger community in Mill Spring, NC, Masters Mountain retreat was built in 2019 and is on top of a hill with breathtaking year-round views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Lake Adger. Guests are drawn to the enchanting views visible throughout. Grab a glass of wine and step out onto the amazing wrap around wooden deck to fully soak in the natural setting. Relax in a rocking chair or go to the screened porch area, a favorite place to enjoy your morning coffee or a meal where you can continue to take in the amazing scenery and tranquility. On the spacious deck and screen porch there is a gas grill and outdoor seating for your grilling and chilling pleasure. You will feel right at home as you walk into Masters Mountain Retreat. Inside, you’ll find a newly built very nicely equipped home with 4 bedrooms and 3 ½ baths. The main floor has a master bedroom with a king bed, walk out sliding glass door to the deck, a gas fireplace, a TV with satellite, large rain-spray shower and a walk-in closet. Additionally on the main floor is a half bath; a comfortable living room with views, flat screen TV with satellite, WIFI and a gas fireplace, a dining room with more views and a table that seats 6-8; laundry room with washer and dryer and well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, eat-in island, and all you need to make cooking any meal a breeze.

Upstairs you will find a full bath and two large bedrooms. One of the bedrooms offers a full size bed, a futon couch that can easily be used as a twin bed, two closets and phenomenal views. The other bedroom has a twin and trundle bed and a large closet.

A newly finished basement offers a bedroom with a queen bed, a bathroom with a large walk-in shower, a rec area, a kitchenette with a microwave and coffee pot, and lounging area with a queen size sleeper sofa. There is a nice patio out the sliding glass door where you can enjoy the views in the shade of the deck above. And don’t forget to make s’mores in the fire pit right off the back-patio area.

Just around the corner (5 min drive), the beautiful 438-acre Lake Adger beckons with its 14 miles of shoreline. Enjoy some fishing or a peaceful ride on the Lake with the kayaks or explore the beautiful stretch of the Green River accessed through the lake. Bring your boat to launch at the nearby marina. (Lake Boating Restrictions: 80hp for pontoon, 60 hp for others. Sorry, No skiing or jet skis) Lake Adger also has 13 miles of hiking/horse trails. Entrance is just steps from the Cabin. Tubing down the Green River is another popular adventure just a short drive away!

The area abounds with waterfalls, hiking, tubing and kayaking. Wineries, breweries, orchards, antiquing, shopping and wonderful restaurants are a short drive away. This area is rich in art and live music. Of course you are in horse country, and the Tryon International Equestrian Center is a year round venue and is the world’s premier equestrian lifestyle destination showcasing some of the top riders in the Hunter/Jumper, and Dressage disciplines.

You are a short drive from the quaint villages of both Saluda & Tryon. Enjoy all sorts of new restaurants, shops, and a growing small-town America downtown vibe, with festivals and other activities year-round. Or head north and enjoy the Lake Lure area. During apple season, the orchards abound with every type of apples and apple baked goods you can imagine.

You are less than an hour from America’s favorite scenic byway, The Blue Ridge Parkway, motorcycle touring, biking, hiking, white water rafting, rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, zip lining, Segway tour…just about any outdoor activity! Or, take a day-trip to downtown Asheville to enjoy the first-rate restaurants, shopping, galleries, spas, and entertainment.
