The house itself was built in the early 1900’s and has undergone several renovations that make it very unique.

The house features:

– 6 bedrooms (2 kings, 2 queens, 2 twins, 1 twin)

king bedrooms and is perfect for children

Saluda offers shopping, tubing, kayaking, biking, hiking and a zip line. However there are numerous other activities in the surrounding area:

Asheville – only 45 minutes away where you can explore the magnificent Biltmore House and Biltmore Village. There are also excellent restaurants, superb shopping and a new outlet mall right off I-26.

Hendersonville – only 20 minutes away where you can find a lively and vivacious main street that has outdoor dining, shopping, crafts and several festivals.

Flat Rock – 10 minutes away and featuring the national park at Carl Sandburg’s house that has hiking trails and a goat farm that is a must-see for children. The renowned Flat Rock theater is across the street from the park.

Blue Ridge Parkway – 35 minutes away there is an access to the parkway off i-26 before you get to Asheville. You can spend hours driving along the parkway and enjoy the beautiful vistas of the smoky mountains.

Tryon – 20 minutes to the quaint town of Tryon where they have the equestrian and nature center and nice restaurants and shopping.
