A sense of history prevails at Rosie’s Farm, a 70 acre parcel of land that has been in the same family since the late 1800’s. As you pull up the tree lined driveway to you will instantly feel the calming peace of the surrounding country setting. Once a working farm the land is now home to a gracious 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath custom built house erected in the late 1980’s. This gracious family home is perfect larger groups and offers the outdoor space for gatherings both big and small.
As you enter the front door you arrive in a spacious living room with cathedral ceiling. Plenty of comfortable seating surround the wood burning fireplace; a TV equipped with Dish Network is hung above. From the living room the breakfast room sits to the left which is open into the well equipped kitchen. The Master bedroom with connecting private bath is tucked away at the end of the hallway for optimal privacy. A bonus space at the rear of the home provides additional dining space and a seating area with TV. French doors lead to a spacious patio area with gas grill, outdoor seating and private back yard making it perfect for evening get-to-gathers.
As you explore upstairs you will find a small loft area with a double sleeper, great for semi-private sleeping quarters. Also on the second floor you’ll find two guest rooms; one with a queen bed and private bath, the other with a set of twin beds. Each of these guests rooms have a TV (equipped with Dish Network) and a small balcony overlooking the front yard which features a gorgeous saucer magnolia-sometimes called “tulip tree” because of the tulip shaped flowers that adorn the tree in the early spring. A full hall bath on this floor serves the loft area and twin guest room.
