We will learn about turning legs, design and layouts, tenons, assembly, working with tools (lathe, bandsaw, drill press, router, sanders), finishing and key safely issues related to the project. Some woodworking experience is useful but not required.
This is a three (3) day class from 9am – 4pm each day with a one hour lunch break.
Please bring a lunch or snacks as desired. Students should also bring ear protection, dust masks, and latex gloves.
Materials fee: $50 payable to the instructor on the first day of class.
Minimum age – 18; students must be able to stand for at least 2 hours at a time and good hand-eye coordination is required for safety.♦
