All about Bluebirds

March 14, 2020 @ 11:00 am

From 1950 through 1990’s the population of the Eastern Bluebird decreased by about 90%. While the population has increased in recent years, the threat to this North American bird still exists. The program will discuss what happened to the Bluebird, why the threat not only still exists but may be getting worse, and how you can help with its survival.

Local Bluebird enthusiast/expert and NC bluebird society member, Joe Sanders, will lead this presentation.

This event is made possible by the Kirby Endowment at the Polk County Community Foundation.♦
