$20 materials fee to be paid to the instructor at the time of the workshop.

his workshop will cover basic safety issues, introduction to types of wood, wet versus dry, tools (lathe, hand tools), and techniques (clamping, turning, finishes). Students will produce 1-2 finished pieces – spindle, muddler, dibbler, small dry flower urn and/or small bowl.

Please bring a lunch or snacks as desired.

Materials fee: $20

Minimum age – 18 (12+ with parent/guardian); students must be able to stand for at least 2 hours at a time and good hand-eye coordination is required for safety.♦
