Calefax Reed Quintet at Tryon Fine Arts Center

Calefax Reed Quintet is the inventor of a completely new genre, the reed quintet, and is known for virtuosic playing, brilliant arrangements, and innovative stage presentations. Formed in the Netherlands thirty-five years ago, the ensemble has a wide-ranging repertoire from early music of the twelfth century to the present day.
