Exhibits at Upstairs Artspace

February 9 @ 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Gallery Open Hours 12N – 5P Tues – Sat

Exhibits:

Doug McAbee – Even When it’s Dark

McAbee’s sense of humor is in full display with this exhibit of his colorful and playful ink on wood drawings along with his series of self portraits paired with classic works of art. McAbee posted these on social media during 2020 and far from folly, these are works of art in themselves.

Roscoe Conn and Joseph Pearson- In the Eye of the Beholder

To honor Black History Month, the Upstairs celebrates the work of Roscoe Conn and Joseph Pearson. Pearson’s oil paintings show a contemporary “slice of life” in the Black experience, highlighting human struggles of the times.

Addam Dunca- Lasting Impressions

Duncan, known locally for his classic tattoo work and his music, presents a series of new small oil paintings on wood and black and white prints. His work has a moody nostalgic quality, that reminds us of collective family memories.
