I am so excited to be apart of Art Trek 2018! “Forty Artists, Forty Visions”

I am inviting you to be apart of this next step in my art career, to come see my deepest, soulful paintings. Meet & greet with myself and all the talented artists of the Foothills.

Bio:
Kristen Mode is a small business owner and artist of Kaleidoscope Studios, based in her home in Tryon, NC. She wears many other hats in these towns, volunteer coordinator for the Saluda Arts Festival, Chairman for the Tryon Arts & Crafts School Spring Arts Festival, one of the managers of the Purple Onion in Saluda and is usually playing with a rescue animal or sorts. Kristen enjoys working, volunteering in the community and with animals, helping to bring people together with art, music and local food. She is also an avid animal rights activist, lover and uses her art to create a voice for endangered and rescued animals (domestic, livestock, exotic). Originally from the Poconos in Pennsylvania, Kristen moved to Polk County five years and has not looked back. “The mountains are calling” and she found home.

There will be a silent auction to help raise money for Upstairs Artspace, each artist is donating a piece of work.
