Dale McEntire, an accomplished painter and sculptor, curates the artwork on the walls of the Purple Onion and will be hanging new work from area artists this week.  To celebrate the new work, we have invited the artists to be on hand, Tuesday, February 12th from 5:00 to 6:30 PM. Come by for a glass of wine, meet some of the artists and see their latest paintings.

Our featured artist this quarter is Susan Grimely. Susan finds “There is nothing more fun than painting a human who is enjoying playing a musical instrument!” She has attended Old Time Week at Swannanoa Gathering for nine years, and having been inspired by the talent and music, has requested all proceeds from the sales of her paintings be donated to the Swannanoa Gathering.
