Event Navigation
Come see the Rich Nelson Band in concert at the Tryon Theatre on Sunday, February 24, 2019. Tickets are $5, or a food item for Thermal Belt Outreach Ministries. This will be the first concert at the theater since its complete renovation in 2018.
Rich Nelson is a rock musician originally from Detroit. He has been making music and art in the mountains of North Carolina since 2004. After playing in a number of Carolina bands such as 176, the Trophy Husbands, and the Casual Zealots, Rich recorded his first solo record ‘Ever Since Now’ in 2018. You can hear it at RichNelsonBand.com, and you can listen or purchase it on iTunes, Spotify, Bandcamp, Soundcloud and many other sites.
There are also three recent music videos from ‘Ever Since Now’ on YouTube, directed by Luke Nelson.
The Rich Nelson Band features Robert George on drums, Bob Bencze on keys, Stephen Cohen on bass, and Tim McCall on guitar. Some special guests such as Jim Peterman and Ian Harrod will sit in a bit at the Tryon Theatre show.
Come on out to the Tryon Theatre on Sunday, February 24 at 7pm for some music from the Rich Nelson Band, and help the Thermal Belt Outreach continue their good work.
