The class will consist of an opportunity for students to learn:

• basic understanding of the steps that go into choosing containers, flowers, style and location for arranging
• care and handling of materials and lifespan of flowers
• basic principles and elements of design
• tips and tricks of the professionals
• step by step designing and continuous discussion about techniques – though each student will use the same materials, each design will turn out differently
• constructive class or individual critique and tweak
• questions and answers
• open forum to determine areas of interest for future classes; history of design, styles and influences, classic shapes

A materials fee of $30 will be due to the instructor at the time of the workshop.
