Delta Moon plays deep roots music. The whisky-flavored voice of lead vocalist Tom Gray Blues delivers 21st century lyrics winds around the unshakable groove of slide guitarist Mark Johnson. Winners of the International Blues Challenge in Memphis in 2003, the band’s music has been featured on Showtime, Lifetime, the Food Network and other TV. Blues, a songwriter, was named The Roots Music Association’s 2008 Songwriter of the year and penned Cyndi Lauper’s hit “Money Changes Everything,” among many other songs.

Delta Moon tours extensively in the United States, Canada and Europe. Their 2015 release, Low Down, reached #2 on the Roots Music Report’s Contemporary Blues Chart and was named one of the Best Albums of 2015 by both DownBeat and Blues Music Magazine. Their latest album, Cabbagetown (2017) — named for one of the band’s favorite Atlanta neighborhoods —has received enthusiastic audience response.
