The Light in the Piazza follows Margaret Johnson, a wealthy Southern woman, and her daughter Clara as they spend a summer together in Italy. When Clara falls in love with a young Italian man, Margaret is forced to reconsider not only Clara’s future, but her own deep-seated hopes and regrets as well.

Performances will be held outdoors in Tryon, NC’s beautiful Rogers Park. COVID-19 precautions including masks, temperature checks and social distancing will be required. Tickets are limited, with households seated together in pods. All members of the cast and crew will be fully vaccinated.
