Wine and Craft workshop: Japanese Fabric Flower Ornaments

December 13, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Tsumami Zaiku is a traditional Japanese craft used to make fabric flowers which are used for hair ornaments and pins (Kanzashi), floral balls and other decorations.  “Tsumami” means pinching which describes the Tsumami Zaiku process of using repetitive pinching and folding to make the flowers.  In this workshop, we will learn the basic techniques to make beautiful fabric flowers that can be used for hair clips or pins, bookmarks, brooches, fancy packaging, festive decorations, etc.  Tsumami Zaiku is an easy and fun process, so we can relax and enjoy making fabric flowers in a therapeutic environment.

The cost of the workshop is $45, and all materials and refreshments are included.◊♦
