The four-piece group plays an eclectic mix of covers including favorites like the Allman Brothers “Whipping Post\,” John Mayer’s “Gravity\,” and The Beatles’ “Come Together.” Band mates are Matt Phillips and Justin Roe\, guitars/vocals; Marshal Covert\, bass/vocals; and Sean Britt\, drums/sound engineer. \nSaturday\, Aug. 29 | Tasha Ann Band features country and Christian singer Tasha Ann. This young musician is graced with powerful vocals with tones that range from the sweetest whispers to the raspy\, soulful growls of a more mature artist. Like many country artists\, she got her start in church. Whether singing praise songs or her originals\, she gives each performance 100 percent\, as does her band mates Dale Huffman\, acoustic guitar; Liam Pippert\, acoustic guitar\, and Craig Robinson\, electronic drums\, who will perform with her. \nSunday\, Aug. 30 | Marley’s Chain is a male/female duo formed by Hendersonville artists Christie Gipson and David Hintz. Both musicians play guitar and bass\, switch out instruments throughout the show and sing lead and harmony. They play well-known and lesser-known covers and originals in country\, rock\, blues and Americana genres. Join them for a Saluda Sunday Funday. \n\nFriday Sept 4 | Catoe White Band is a 4-piece band that plays familiar country favorites\, country adjacent such as Jimmy Buffet and Hootie and the Blowfish\, and select original material. Its members live\, work\, and play all over the Upstate and the midlands of South Carolina and Eastern North Carolina. Catoe’s voice is described as warm and soulful and he is backed by a band with many decades of experience playing stages big and small. His blend of classic country twang with a healthy dose of Americana inspiration creates a sound that feels both timeless and fresh. \nSaturday September 5 | Podunk Ramblers is a 5-piece bluegrass and American roots music jam band out of Columbia\, S.C. It consists of college students who play high energy bluegrass (think Billy Strings) and old country music. \nSunday\, Sept. 6 |Rick Hornyak Duo features Rick Hornyak\, a singer-songwriter who recently moved to WNC from Austin. His latest album\, Dandelion\, blends rockin’ guitars with heartfelt\, honest lyrics and has been played on radio stations across the country. He is lead of the band Highway Companions. The duo plays a mix of original music and classic songs from Americana and Classic Rock greats.2-5pm \nFriday September 11 | Casual Zealots Band is a band with members primarily from the Tryon area. The group features Jim Peterman\, Rich Nelson\, Vinny Corda and Marco Noto. They play originals\, including “Soul Searching” written by Vinny Corda\, as well as well-known favorites. Their music has been featured at the Tryon International Film Festival and Tryon Fine Arts Center. \n Saturday September 12 | The Mattocks-Johnson Band returns to Saluda Outfitters and Green River Eddy’s Tap Room with its mix of Blues and Classic Rock covers and Originals. Fronted by Howie Johnson\, (a highly sought-after blues and rock guitarist and vocalist based in Hendersonville\, NC) and Bill Mattocks (a veteran blues musician known for his powerhouse vocals and exceptional harmonica skills.) Together they bring a tight well-balanced show for listening or dancing. \nSunday September 13 | Stephen Evans will share his solo music as part of a Saluda Sunday Funday performance. Stephen’s strong melodic songwriting style is a blend of vivid imagery\, darkness\, and hopeful optimism. There’s no denying the feeling that shines through with his evocative vocals and lyrics. Songs like ‘Ghost Among the Trees’\, ‘The Garden’\, ‘Cherokee Hills’\, ‘Shining Star’\, and ‘1000 Roses’ are beacons of his folk-rock song craft. With radio play on WNC radio stations\, as well as shows around the region\, Stephen Evans and his band\, The True Grits\, are becoming a local favorite. \nFriday September 18 | The Contractors Band plays the best of tunes from the ‘60s\, ‘70s and ‘80s. The Asheville party band is very popular around the WNC mountains. You will find they play songs you can relate to\, sing to\, dance to\, so come out and enjoy a look back at some great oldies. \nSaturday September 19th | Crystal Creek Band will hit the stage with some southern rock\, classic country and bluegrass. A versatile band\, they focus on providing something for everyone’s taste. Band members include Ed Bowen\, lead guitarist from Williamston\, SC; Candace Gronek\, rhythm guitar/vocals of Greenville; Jerry Hipp\, drummer of Inman; and Robert Bowen\, bass/vocals of Inman \nFriday September 25th | Caston is a band based in the Upstate of S.C. and includes a father/son duo\, Isaiah Caston and his dad\, Adam (Hub City Productions)\, along with a group of other multi-talented musicians. They play well-known songs from the past and present consisting of strong musicianship and crowd interaction. \nSaturday September 26th | Blackleaf Southern Rock Band is a high energy 5-piece group based out of Rutherford County. The band plays everything from country\, rock\, southern rock\, blues and funk. Whether you just listen or love to dance Blackleaf will give you a high-quality show that is a must see! Band mates are Jon Buck\, vocals/rhythm guitar and Amie Buck\, female vocalist\, both from Spindale; Angelo Zollo\, drums\, from Saluda; Kevin “Fuzzy” McCall\, bass from Tryon; and Chuck Reed\, lead guitar from Sunshine. \nSunday September 27th | DogDay BlueJay Duo is a low-key acoustic trio based in Greenville\, SC\, playing originals and singer-songwriter type favorites of Dylan\, Kristofferson\, Parsons\, Willie\, Waylon\, Clapton\, Shaver and many others. Acoustic guitars\, standup bass\, mandolin and Dobro create pleasant music by these long-time local musicians. Band members include Joanie Sanders on bass/vocals and Mark McAfee on guitar/vocals. \n  \n  \n\n
