We’ve got big news of recovery on our beloved Green River, thanks to huge efforts from multiple agencies. The lower section of the river has been restored and is ready to reopen for the summer season. This news comes as Green River Adventures hosts their season-opening Spring Green Bash this weekend on Saluda’s Main Street, announcing their tubing and self-guided inflatable kayaking trips are booking now on this lower section beginning Memorial Day weekend.
This week also brings the return of favorite events that lead us into summer, including the amphitheater concerts at Tryon Fine Arts Center and the first Saturday Night Lights festival.
