The Phaeton Piano Trio debuted in the United States in 2020 with concerts at the Library of Congress in Washington and the Frick Collection in New York. Their South American debut took place at the Fundación Beethoven in Santiago, Chile, and they have since toured across the United States and Canada. Concert venues include the major stages of Europe and Asia.
Violinist Friedemann Eichhorn has played with prestigious European orchestras and ensembles and has recorded under the Naxos and Hänssler Classic labels. Cellist Peter Hörr has appeared as soloist, chamber musician, and conductor at important festivals and has won awards for his recordings. Pianist Florian Uhlig won the Schumann Prize from the city of Zwickau and recorded Robert Schumann’s solo piano works for Hänssler Classic.
The three musicians joined forces to create this exciting and acclaimed trio known for playing with both intensity and nuance, producing a unified and thrilling sound. ♦
