Big beautiful trees provide privacy in the Summer and Fall leaves stun the hillside in the Fall. The bareness of winter makes way for beautiful sunsets and clear starry nights. Within a a 10-15 minute drive to downtown Lake Lure and Chimney Rock, you can enjoy a quiet and private home and easily visit the busy areas around town. Ingles and Dollar general are a short 5-7 minute drive for groceries, Starbucks, internet browsing. Tons of walking and hiking trails surround the area, as well as Parker-Binns Vineyard, Tryon Equestrian Center and Pavillon. Drive an hour to the Asheville outlets, Biltmore, downtown restaurants and Blue Ridge Parkway trails. Our house was originally built in the 1950s and had an addition added 40 years later to expand the living room and add an upstairs master suite. It’s a rustic home, but clean and spacious, quiet and relaxing. It’s a modern farmhouse with the essential things you’ll need to enjoy some time away in nature. The kitchen is equipped with a Ninja coffee bar for latte making and an electric stove and oven. The kid’s room has a kid’s corner that is stocked with books and toys for rainy days, along with a wide selection of DVDs and games. Outdoors we have a fun ninja course for the kids to enjoy some safe ziplining and monkey bars while parents relax with a glass of wine. Enjoy the fireplace in the winter and the firepit in the Summer. Not to be excluded, dogs under 50 lbs can join the family and safely run and play in the fenced in backyard. What could be better?! Special Note: We are currently working to get wi-fi, but the entire area has limited access to high-speed internet. Unplugged is common for residents here because many areas have weak signal — Perhaps that is part of its charm!
