Regulations for NC Fishing Hunting and Trapping

It is unlawful in Polk County to possess or set a steel trap, except on land owned or leased solely for agricultural purposes by the trapper. It is unlawful to hunt with a firearm from or on a public road or the right-of-way thereof. A hunting license is required for fox hunting on horseback or on foot.
