Since we’re a small, independent theatre located in Western North Carolina, we try to focus on small, independent breweries in Western North Carolina. It’s a kindred spirit thing. As for wine, we sell individual servings (yes, in a glass) of Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pino Noir. And then there are Half Bottles of some really nice wines as well as single splits of Prosecco.

Beer and wine are available downstairs at the Concessions Counter and in the Projection Booth (cash only) at the top of the balcony – ask the Projectionist for the latest offerings.

On the second and fourth Mondays and Tuesdays of the month the theatre shows art-speciality films (foreign, docomentaries, etc.) in association with The Tryon Film Society. The Film Society shows begin at 7:00 PM . The Tryon Theatre offers a full line of movie concessions for your enjoyment as well as featuring gourmet coffee from the Little River Roasting Company. A wide selection of cold beer, domestic and premium, is sold in the balcony, which is equipped with electrostatic air purifiers to accomodate smoking. Ticket prices at the Tryon Theatre range from $8.00 for evening shows to $6.50 for the Sunday matinees for all customers.
