Tryon Toymakers is a quaint shop located on Trade Street in Tryon. They have handmade toys, woodcarvings, chocolates, and more! This unique shop is charming and houses other vendors as well. The Toymakers created the design of a hobby horse toy that was white with black and red accents. The toy was made into a life-size parade float and became the mascot for the town. “Morris the Horse” can be seen watching over the comings and goings of Tryon’s main street at the intersection of Pacolet Street.
