The exhibition showcases standout pieces from some of the most exciting craft artists and makers working today. The special first look gives collectors, curators, and art enthusiasts early access to an exceptional selection of works that will be featured in Penland’s signature benefit auction – one of the most celebrated craft events in the country, supporting the nation’s oldest and most revered craft school.

Spanning a range of disciplines including glass, ceramics, metals, textiles, photography, and more, First Look highlights the diversity, innovation, and excellence that define Penland’s creative community.

The exhibition runs through June 8, 2025.
