Bird Walk at Fence
September 24 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am
FreeEvent Navigation
Migration is in full swing in September here in Western North Carolina. Come join Kevin Burke for an easy two hour bird walk to search for migrating warblers, tanagers, and flycatchers. Some birds we hope to see are American Redstart, Blue-headed Vireo, and Summer Tanager. We will wander FENCE’s trails in search of everything avian. Please meet us at the parking lot by the pollinator garden at 9A.M. Birders of all levels are welcome. Please remember to dress appropriately for the weather, wear comfortable shoes, and bring along binoculars if you have them.
This event is free and open to the public. Registration is encouraged.♦
