The launch celebration will feature storytelling, music and food. Following the celebration, the Marching to Zion program will focus on the history of African-American churches and their foundational role in faith, freedom, leadership and community building across generations. The presentation and exhortation will be led by Rev. Carol R. Cannon, who will explore the historical and theological connections among the African Methodist Episcopal, African Methodist and theological connections among the African Methodist Episcopal, African Methodist Episcopal Zion, Christian Methodist Episcopal, and United Methodist traditions.

Musical ministry will be provided by Carl and Edna of Hardivaughn Ministries.
