Historical African American Site Tours

The 2 1/2 hour tour will begin and conclude at 131 Wheat Creek, Rutherfordton, NC. Please remember to park directly in front of the church in the designated parking spaces.

. This unique 2 1/2 hour riding tour will take you through the rich history of African-American sites located in Pea Ridge and the surrounding areas of Polk County.

Since its inception last year, the Pea Ridge Partnership tour has been met with great success, drawing participants from near and far eager to explore the significant contributions and stories of African-Americans in our community. Whether you are a long-time resident or new to the area, we encourage everyone to join us for this enriching experience.
