Asheville-based Jonathan Scales Fourchestra is known for its unique blend of jazz, classical and progressive rock, accompanied by Latin rhythms and soulful outbursts of funk. The Band’s latest album, “Pillar,” features Bela Fleck, and reached #5 on the iTunes Jazz Chart.

The Fourchestra consists of electric bassist E’Lon JD, drummer Maison Guidry, and steel pan player Jonathan Scales. The band is a consistent trio, with Jonathan writing for the group, not just the steel pans.
