Mushroom Hike at FENCE

Free, Friday, July 11, 9am, at FENCE, Tryon, NC. ♦

Enjoy a guided walk around the trails of FENCE in search of wild fungi. Observe different mushroom species and learn how to identify them in the field.  Space is limited – sign up by calling 828-859-9021.

Please wear sturdy shoes and bring water, a notebook, and your sense of wonder. Baskets and pocket knives are welcome for those who like to collect mushrooms.
