Shakespeare & Friends presents a lovely evening of theater in Roger’s Park with the classic Thorton Wilder play “Our Town” on June 29 & 30.

For the residents of Grover’s Corners, daily life proceeds at a predictable pace. The milkman arrives like clockwork, the neighbors perpetually gossip, and children contemplate their future. It’s a simple plot line but somehow expresses all the joys and complexities of life.  Two of these children, George Gibbs (Allen Law) and Emily Webb (Tara Sweeney) fall in love as adults and despite last minute nerves, get married.Thornton Wilder’s Pulitzer, Tony and Academy Award winning play is a beloved theater classic.
