Owl Prowl at Fence

Join FENCE for a nighttime walk around the property in search of some of our local owl species.
Come unravel the secrets of owls at FENCE. Join Kevin Burke for an evening of owl prowling. This evening we will wander FENCE’s trails searching for nocturnal avifauna. Potential owls we could encounter include the Great Horned, Barred, or Eastern Screech. We will be lucky to find one of these magnificent creatures out on the trails. We will meet at 6P.M. at the parking lot near the pollinator garden.
This should be a fun evening stroll around FENCE. Of course, we will hope for calm and clear weather as windy conditions can make finding owls very difficult! Bring your flashlight or headlamp (something with a red light option is best), your ‘inside voices,’ and get ready for some owling!
