A celebration of native plants and a meaningful step toward restoring biodiversity in the Carolina Foothills.

The event begins at The Congregational Church, 210 Melrose Ave, Tryon, NC – within walking distance of downtown. Pick up a free pollinator pocket garden, enjoy a self guided walk through the church’s native garden, and shop from a selection of affordable of native plant plugs. Be sure to bring a cardboard box to hold your purchases.

Next, stop by the Gardening for Life table set up on Trade St. in downtown and learn about gardening with native plants and habitatscaping.

Lastly, enjoy the flourishing gardens at The Depot Garden, 10 Depot St., featuring a native habitat.
