The Town of Tryon will host two free concerts at Rogers Park in September, featuring the Old Time Sailors on September 4 and the Iliana Rose Latin Jazz Band on September 25.
The Old Time Sailors will perform at 6 p.m. on Friday, bringing traditional sea shanties and Celtic rock to the park, located at 55 W. Howard St. The high-energy, interactive performance includes audience sing-alongs, storytelling, and a maritime theme.
