The Godfather Part II is an epic crime film by Francis Ford Coppola. It is both a sequel and prequel to The Godfather. The film picks up on the story of Michael Corleone, played by Al Pacino, as the new Don of the Corleone family, and the journey of Vito Corleone, played by Robert De Niro) from his Sicilian childhood to his founding of the Corleone family enterprise.
