Tryon Riding & Hunt Club will be “coming home to Tryon” with its new “Traditionally Tryon Horse Show” at Harmon Field April 19-21. It’s the grand conclusion of “Tryon Horse Heritage Week,” co-created by TRHC and the Tryon Downtown Development Assn. Activities kick off Fri., April 12, with the Blockhouse Steeplechase Calcutta, then the Steeplechase on Saturday, April 13. A week of equestrian-themed events will culminate with the Carter Brown Bar-B-Que at Harmon Field on Thursday evening, and the “Traditionally Tryon Show”running from Friday-Sunday, April 19-21st. Be there to capture a touch of the Tryon traditions that started it all.
