The Airing of the Quilts will be held on Saturday, August 17, in downtown Landrum, from 9am-2pm, along North Trade Avenue. The Airing of the Quilts has its roots in a centuries old tradition. Quilts, often made out of scraps of material and clothing, were a necessity to keep families warm.
