10th Anniversary Celebration for Tryon History Museum Friday, September 27 – Sunday, September 29. Event on Friday, 5-7pm Welcome Reception: visit Tryon History Museum and see the new exhibits and enjoy meeting the museum board and volunteers. The welcome reception is a perfect opportunity to learn more about Tryon.   Events on Saturday, 9am-4:30pm, all along Trade Street: Car Show: 9am-2pm set up along McCown Street. Enjoy a specially curated car show – come meet these car enthusiasts and some unusual cars. Kids Craft Area: 10:30am-1:30pm area will be located on the Plaza Free Movie: “National Velvet” will be playing at 2:30pm at the Tryon Theatre. Free admission, reserve your ticket at https://www.tryontheatre.com two weeks before the show. Barbershop Quartet: 11:30am-3:30pm. The Quartet will be strolling the street and visiting the shops to bring the joy of barbershop singing to all who will listen. Ice Cream Social: 12-2pm on the Plaza. Get one free scoop of ice cream at the Fun Ice Cream Truck. Tryon Tuba: 3-5pm will be playing at the Plaza   Events on Sunday, 4:30-9pm: Social Time: 4:30-6:30pm at The Tryon Bottle.
