Opening Reception on November 20, 6pm at Tryon Arts and Crafts School, Tryon, NC. The annual Handcrafted Holiday Market is a one stop shopping trip for all your holiday gift giving needs. BBQ Beatdown in Downtown Tryon

BBQ Beatdown, on McCown Street in Downtown Tryon, NC. Contestants from around the area compete for the award of “Best BBQ.”  Vote for your favorite BBQ for $1 per ticket/vote so bring plenty of singles!  Tastings will be from 4-6pm. There will be 5 chicken, 10 pork, 5 beef, and 5 other (lamb, vegetarian, seafood, etc.) contestants. There will also be a contest for the best cornbread. The cornbread contest will be on the plaza. The Airing of the Quilts will be held on Saturday, August 17, in downtown Landrum, from 9am-2pm, along North Trade Avenue. The Airing of the Quilts has its roots in a centuries old tradition.
