Fireworks Fundraiser at Orchard Lake Campground
Enjoy fireworks at Orchard Lake Campground on Saturday, July 5, at dusk (around 9pm). The celebration is a fundraiser for the Saluda Volunteer Fire Department and all visitors and guests are encouraged to make a donation. Visitors are welcome to arrive before 7pm and register for day passes at the campground office. Day passes are $8/person and allow access to use all campground activities including: boating, fishing, swimming, zip-line, soccer, volleyball, shuffleboard, badminton, basketball, skate ramps, horseshoes, pool, and more.Visitors arriving after 7pm are not required to pay for a day pass. Fabulous 4th of July Downtown Columbus
Enjoy a Star-Spangled celebration on Friday, July 4th from 10am-10pm in downtown, Columbus. Festivities include live music, local vendors and crafts, delicious food, exhibits, thrilling amusement rides and a spectacular fireworks display. Live music starting at 10am: Patrick Ballard, Bobby Wynn, Mark Queen & Greg Trollinger, Jennifer Allsbrook, Blues Underground, Red Dog and Friends, and more. Antique Car Show on Gibson Street, adjacent to the courthouse, 10am-2:30pm, vote for your favorite classic car. Enjoy dunking booth, water games, amusement rides and more. A special Veteran’s Hour will be held on the main stage from 12-1pm featuring members of the American Legion and the VFW. The grand finale will take place at 9:45pm when the Silver Travis band will perform the Star-Spangled Banner leading into a spectacular 20 minute fireworks display.
