BBQ Beatdown in Downtown Tryon

BBQ Beatdown, on McCown Street in Downtown Tryon, NC. Contestants from around the area compete for the award of “Best BBQ.”  Vote for your favorite BBQ for $1 per ticket/vote so bring plenty of singles!  Tastings will be from 4-6pm. There will be 5 chicken, 10 pork, 5 beef, and 5 other (lamb, vegetarian, seafood, etc.) contestants. There will also be a contest for the best cornbread. The cornbread contest will be on the plaza.
