March 11-17 EVENTS Quick View: Here’s a look at events happening around the First Peak of the Blue Ridge from March 11-17, 2026. We’re seeing a few tiny green leaves in some trees, and new spring flowers are showing up daily – what a delight! You might even find a four leaf clover, if you’re lucky, of course. Enjoy words and music in the mountains this week – as Donovan McAbee returns to his home area Wednesday night (the 11th) for an evening of readings from his new book of poetry plus live music from friends.
