August 19-25 EVENTS Quick View: Here’s a look at events happening around the First Peak of the Blue Ridge from August 19-25, 2026.
Come see us this week and enjoy music, food, art, wine and educational events – we’ve got it all!
This is the final concert in Tryon’s Summer Tracks concert series – come out to Rogers Park on Friday evening for a tribute to Bonnie Raitt. Or head to Parker-Binns Vineyard for their Friday sunset party featuring the Otter Dogs (pictured). Railroad history buffs will tell hobo stories at the Saluda Depot Museum. Listen to poetry, stories and songs at Mirrorball Gallery’s Open Mic night, experience honey at the Orchard Inn, delight in some different cuisine with our food truck events. Find the details for this week’s events here.
Make your plans to visit Pearson’s Falls & Glen this summer and see the beauty that was revealed after the storm – the late summer wildflowers will be blooming soon for some wonderful color. Visit their web site for information, a new events schedule, FAQs and ticketing details. Admission has changed – they are open Thursdays-Saturdays with 3 timed entry slots – space is limited and advance tickets are required. You’ll be delighted by the new experience!
