Enjoy some whimsy in the mountains this weekend. It’s time for a local spring favorite – Go Fly a Kite day at FENCE (Foothills Equestrian Nature Center). A huge green field with families flying kites is a wonderful sight! Tryon’s April Fool’s Festival comes a couple of days early this year, with its outhouse races and ‘trashion’ show on Saturday 3/28.
