October 22-28 EVENTS Quick View: Here’s a look at events happening around the First Peak of the Blue Ridge from October 22-28, 2025.
We are enjoying the fall colors and leaves on the ground – and with the addition of some spooky decorations, it’s definitely Halloween! The colors are developing over our mountain views and in our small towns, with the most showing around the Saluda, NC area. We’ll keep you posted with fall color updates or give us a call for the latest update so you can plan a fall visit.
We kick off the Halloween festivities with several events this week – like the new 3-day Fright Fest at FENCE 10/23-25 – starting at 7pm every night with a Haunted House and Trail and outdoor movies. On Friday, 10/24, Kids’ Night starts earlier, 5-7pm. Looks like a frightfully fun time! Make time for all the other happenings – like history events, concerts, festivals and wine events.
