October 11-17 EVENTS Quick View: Here’s a look at what’s happening around the First Peak of the Blue Ridge from October 11-17, 2023.
This week, we’re seeing early fall colors starting in the higher elevations around Saluda. The colors will flow down the mountains over the next few weeks, with peak fall color usually appearing in the first week of November. Take advantage of the season with special events such as a tour of local homesteads. As always, there are plenty of music, festival, and farmer’s market events to celebrate fall for all. Mark your calendars for the upcoming Tryon Beer Fest on Nov. 4, at the Tryon Depot Plaza. There will be music, a wide selection of breweries to sample, and lots of fun at this downtown community event.
