Birding for Kids at Polk County Library

North Carolina Arboretum teaches all about birds and the many different types that call Western North Carolina their home. Learn why some birds migrate and some don’t. Why are some birds bright colors while others blend in? Venture out on a bird walk (weather permitting) where you’ll learn how to use binoculars, search for evidence of birds, and learn some bird calls.
